Hawk Haven (originally The Spring) is nestled high on the bank of the river.  It has a view of the "eagle tree" and the West Riverbar below.  There is a good mixture of sun and shade.  Some daring souls use the log to access the beach, while others walk a short distance for gentle access.  In the early season, when the river is still running higher, the only beach available is Big Beach, which can be reached by walking or driving.
Larger motorhomes and camp trailers "can" fit, but are not recommended at this time.
The combination of Mountain View, Maple Grove, and Hawk Haven would be ideal for a very large gathering such as a family reunion.
